We feel truly honored to be a part of the Providence community and our genuine passion for healthy smiles reaches beyond our office doors. Drs. Light, Conforti, Zarella, and the rest of the team volunteer time and talent to helping others maintain and achieve optimal dental health.
Once a month, Dr. Light and Dr. Conforti provide free dental work for individuals in need through Donated Dental. This includes everything from fillings to full mouth rehabilitations. From diagnosis through treatment, our dentists work with local labs and other providers to offer significant dental work for those in need.
Once a month, both Dr Light and Dr Conforti provide free dental work for individuals in need through the Donated Dental Services program. This program provides free, comprehensive dental treatment to our country’s most vulnerable people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile. These are people who cannot afford necessary treatment and cannot get public aid. Dr Light and Conforti are proud to have participated in this program for 10+ years.
To keep our patients healthy, we must be healthy. The Physician Health Committee is a peer oversight program that helps medical professionals in Rhode Island receive the care they need by responding to physician health issues, such as medical illnesses, substance use and psychiatric disorders, as well as coping with stress and burnout. Dr. Conforti has been a Physician Health Committee Member since 2018.
Dr Conforti travels to the RIFC twice a month to provide free dental care to individuals in our community in need. All current patients at the clinic are uninsured Rhode Island adults who earn less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. It is a pleasure and an honor for Dr Conforti to be able to provide care and assistance to such a valued part of our community.
